n8n implementation, operation support and consulting

Automate Workflows Across Internal Systems and AI, from Build to Operations

n8n implementation, integration development, and maintenance support for self-hosted environments

CRM, internal databases, email, chat, cloud services, and generative AI: as the number of business tools grows, so does the manual work required to transfer data, check information, and send notifications.

Good Loop deploys the workflow automation platform n8n in a customer-managed cloud environment or on an internal server. We provide end-to-end support, from process analysis and system integration to workflow development, operations, and maintenance.

Why Choose Good Loop for n8n Implementation Support?

Built in an Environment You Control

We deploy n8n in the environment that best fits your requirements, including AWS, Azure, GCP, a VPS, or on-premises infrastructure. We determine where credentials and business data should be managed and design the environment in accordance with your internal security policies.

Integrate APIs, Databases, and SaaS Platforms

We build cross-system processes as unified workflows, including synchronizing a CRM with an internal database, registering inquiry data, requesting approvals, processing documents, and generating scheduled reports.

Custom Development Beyond Standard Features

For products and internal systems not covered by existing nodes, we develop API integrations, custom nodes, data transformation logic, and code that runs within n8n.

Embed AI and LLMs into Business Processes

By connecting generative AI and other AI APIs with n8n, we can automate the entire process of receiving information, making decisions, recording results, and sending notifications. The automation goes beyond summarization and classification to trigger real business actions such as approvals and system updates.

Support for Maintenance and In-House Operations

In addition to updates, backups, monitoring, and incident triage, we can prepare operating procedures and train your internal team.

What Is n8n?

n8n is a source-available workflow automation platform that lets you build business processes by connecting nodes in a visual interface. In addition to a wide range of built-in integrations, it supports HTTP APIs, webhooks, databases, and logic written in JavaScript or Python, making it flexible enough for everything from routine tasks to complex internal system integrations.

Because n8n can run in your own environment, it is a strong option when business data or credentials cannot easily be entrusted to an external automation service.

How n8n Compares with Zapier and Make

Zapier and Make are excellent automation services that let you connect many cloud applications quickly without provisioning a server. n8n, by contrast, offers a self-hosted option and makes it easier to tailor connectivity with internal systems, data location, and custom processing to your own requirements.

Categoryn8nZapierMake
Primary deployment modelCloud or self-hostedCloud serviceCloud service; Enterprise plans offer an on-premise agent for connecting internal systems
Key strengthsFlexible implementation combining APIs, code, and custom nodesEasy to begin automating cloud applications using a broad catalog of app integrationsVisual scenario design and workflow construction with data transformation and branching
Pricing modelFor self-hosting, costs primarily consist of infrastructure, implementation, and operations; paid features require a separate licensePricing is based on tasks, such as successful actionsPricing is based on credits, such as module executions within a scenario
Best suited forOrganizations that prioritize data location, need to connect internal systems, or require custom processingOrganizations that want to connect many SaaS applications quickly and leave operations to the service providerOrganizations that want to visually build and manage processes spanning multiple services

The right service depends on the systems you need to connect, execution volume, data sensitivity, required customization, and your internal operating model. Good Loop does not recommend n8n by default. We first clarify your requirements and propose the areas where implementation is likely to deliver measurable value.

Services Designed with Licensing in Mind

n8n’s official documentation explicitly identifies the following uses and services as examples permitted under the Sustainable Use License.

  • Using n8n for internal business purposes, such as synchronizing company-controlled data from a CRM to an internal database
  • Creating an n8n node for a product or otherwise integrating a product with n8n
  • Providing consulting services to develop workflows, custom features closely integrated with n8n, or code executed by n8n
  • Supporting n8n, including setup and maintenance on a company’s internal server

Within this scope, Good Loop primarily provides implementation in customer-managed environments, integration development, workflow development, operations, and maintenance.

This service does not white-label and resell n8n, nor does it charge customers for access to an n8n instance hosted by Good Loop.

For the latest official terms, please review n8n’s Sustainable Use License documentation.

Pricing

n8n’s official Cloud service is affordably priced and can be used immediately without setting up a server. Good Loop therefore offers two distinct options: Japanese-language onboarding support for customers who subscribe directly to the official Cloud service, and self-hosted deployment in a customer-managed environment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is n8n open source?

A: Its source code is publicly available, but it is not licensed under an OSI-approved open-source license. n8n is fair-code software distributed under the Sustainable Use License. Good Loop reviews the license terms and provides implementation, development, and maintenance services within the permitted scope.

Q: Can n8n be used commercially for internal business operations?

A: Yes. n8n’s official documentation permits use for internal business purposes, including synchronizing data controlled by a company. If your intended use is unclear, we will review the proposed architecture and advise you accordingly.

Q: Do you support both cloud and on-premises deployment?

A: Yes. We propose an architecture based on data sensitivity, connectivity with existing systems, availability requirements, budget, and your internal operating model.

Q: Can n8n integrate with our own product if no existing node is available?

A: Yes. We review the API and connectivity specifications, then recommend the most appropriate approach, such as HTTP integration, custom node development, or supporting functionality.

Q: Can we migrate from Zapier or Make?

A: Yes. We analyze your current automation flows, connected applications, execution volume, and error handling, then rebuild them in n8n. Because the available applications and features differ among services, we recommend a phased migration beginning with the most important workflows.

Q: Will n8n always cost less than Zapier or Make?

A: Not necessarily. Self-hosting n8n involves server costs as well as implementation, monitoring, updating, and other operating expenses. We compare total cost, including execution volume, required features, and maintenance arrangements.

Q: Can we start small and expand later?

A: Yes. You can begin with a single process where the impact is easy to measure, then gradually expand to other departments and workflows based on operational results.
